-HUMSAFAR-

re: -HUMSAFAR-

I think the line where she says Khizer Alam's blood group doesn't match either is a bit too dragged on. Why bring it all back!

re: -HUMSAFAR-

dd she was proving the point tht asher is the father :)

re: -HUMSAFAR-

She was teaching him biology.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

The last episode was very rushed. Really, they made the whole thing look like a helpless woman who couldn't live without a man in her life. The entire drama is pretty much about one woman's obsession with her husband, to the whole romantic build up to this typical 'oh how could he do this to me, I'm ruined' to I'm coming back at you Mister, coz you're the father of my child and we seem to need your help. They're so in each other's face. Always. Give them a break!!!

An episode or two showing Khirad's life as a struggling yet a strong willed mother would've done some justice to her educational background and the good values she's inhertied from her parents. A little dose of parent-child relationship would've been a sweet break from this tiresome Khirad-Asher chase that we've been seeing from episode one.

All in all, what a waste of an interesting female character.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

^ I agree with you Jolie. In the beginning, Khirad was shown as an independent person who had too much of self respect to accept the forced marriage easily. Yet there was no attempt made by the author to show Khirad as a strong, independent educated woman in the 2nd half. A big opportunity missed in my opinion. A twisted love story yet again made at the expense of a weak woman!

re: -HUMSAFAR-

Khirad is my favorite character even though the writing for her character is very weak. And Ashar is my least favorite. What an idiot!

re: -HUMSAFAR-

Any independent woman with a self esteem needs love of her husband, needs him to stand for her when need be, needs him to trust her especially on things as big as sanctity of the marriage, needs her husband to be there when delivering their child specially the first one, needs a husband to raise the child, needs a husband to take care & love her.

I don't think missing your husband or struggling to regain his trust, no matter how educated or of self worth, is something that makes you needy! Any woman in her state would be miserable; she has a right to have an in-your-face attitude after 4 years.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

I think the precap was shown this way to create hype and to have us falling out of our seats... I think after she come to him , there're will probably be some flashback scenes of how she raised her child while working and stuff becaus according to the novel (from wht I've heard, not read) is That she juggled two jobs while raising her child on her own , she'll move out of Batool khalas place..

Those pictures are beyond adorable....I love how Hareem and her mom Have the similar dressing style. Lol

re: -HUMSAFAR-

Yes we got the being miserable part but how exactly does she get over her misery? Life goes on right, but seems like her life starts and ends at chaing her husband, as far as the drama is concerned.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

I am sure they will show parts of it moving on, as flashbacks. Its not going to be such a fast run afterall. The point is she did have a hard time whether they show it or not, we all know a single parent faces a lot of difficulty & that in no way shows you as some one with any less self esteem.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

Its not about 'we all know' rhetoric. A bit of social awareness with a story and a positive message is always a good thing. It would've shown a bit of character change and development, boosted the storyline and presented us with different setting. Despite being a massive success and hugely popular, there is actually nothing inspiring about this drama, which is a real shame. At the end of the day, there are hundreds of dramas on various channels showing the same old twisted love stories at the expense of a weak woman and dumbing down the nation. I kinda realise that Khirad and Asher are some sort Pakistan's answer to Bella and Edward and thankfully I'm not a crazy fan girl so I have a pretty different way of looking at this drama.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

Let's wait & see how it unfolds, maybe at the end of it all it does have a moral & it does show the woman standing up for her right. Its too early to judge specially because the 2nd half hasn't even begun yet.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

i understand where you are coming from but i think they will show things unfold as the drama progresses, even though they did show the four year gap and khirad is back at ashars doorsteps but that doesnt mean shell be shown weak and there love story will start off where it stopped. lets see how the drama unfolds, because from the promos i feel that they will show khirad as a strong character who is independent and raising her child on her own..we even get to see her in an angry phase
and she only came back to him four years later, must be some reason as to why she was so desperate to come back after all these years, or else i doubt she would.

Do Khirad and Asher ever get divorced? Are they still married? I wish that Asher would find out the truth quickly...will they get back together?

re: -HUMSAFAR-

^No they were never divorced...

Khirad came to Ashar to demand a daughter's rights from the father. Sort like child support...
I don't know how the director is going to handle the next half but in the novel she is shown pretty strong. I am pretty sure there will be flash backs and stuff. While reading the novel, I in-fact did not like how she handeled her marriage crisis but when she became mother she is portrayed much stronger. Her decision to come to Asher to demand her daughter's rights is very appropriate. I think she should have demanded Ashar to pay child support from the birth but she needed time I guess....

Hint*

....premature babies usually have health problems.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

humsafar cast coming on jago pakistan jago fawad, mahira n sara i m so excited guys i dont have humtv so some one has 2 upload it plz

Can't wait. Will watch it live tommorrow night. I am pretty sure they will upload on YouTube and on Humsafar Facebook. Just look for the one with over 100k fans. The director really should do justice to this play with all the fans it has.

PLease someone answer this question? Did they ever get divorced? Does Asher just wait for 4 years and never divorces Khirad? As far as Khirad I know she has a very tough time raising a premature child with
Very meager resources so she probably doesn't even bother with asking for divorce.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

yes they dont get divorced :)
