re: -HUMSAFAR-
Who was the dudette interviewing Fawad in that audio clip? She sounded as excited as a dead bee!
The only interesting thing he said was 'I was very reluctant to do humsafar', at which point any peanut brain would have asked: why not, what were the reasons??? But all we got from the monotone voiced 'interviewer' was hmm hmm!
Anyway, why do they insist on interviewing in english?? sounds forced and unnatural IMO.
re: -HUMSAFAR-
^ I think he gave his reasoning that the character was too easy to play. He didn't have to do much homework - just show up wearing a tie and play Asher with a stiff attitude and a lot of anger.
re: -HUMSAFAR-
Y is fawad bare footed on ramp? Anyhow congrats humsafar fans v have marked half century 50 pages :)
re: -HUMSAFAR-
LOOKING FORWARD TO EPISODE 15!!!!
This episode was slow as expected. I wasn't expecting a whole lot and not a whole lot happened. I did get emotional when she's at the hospital talking to her newborn bundle of sheets - a bit filmy but still liked them. The post baby Batool Khala-Khirad scene was TOOOO LONG.
Nice way to end this epi - when she steps out of the rickshaw and sees the big building in front of her - very effective :)
re: -HUMSAFAR-
Oh my God! Can't wait for next week - that preview was enough to get me excited!!! Although today's episode was slow, but at least they moved forward and finally showed the "chaar saal baad" part. So yay for that! Absolutely cannot wait till next week, Saturday cannot come fast enough. Ugh.
re: -HUMSAFAR-
loved it when khirad was talking 2 her baby :) waiting 4 next epi thnk GOD khirad directly came 2 asher wthout showing any extraa scenes :)
re: -HUMSAFAR-
looking forward to the next episode ..these past 2 episodes were too filmy to digest ! I am glad the story is moving forward :)
re: -HUMSAFAR-
btw how come Khizar goes out of the scene so easily ...no sign of him after 4 years?
re: -HUMSAFAR-
yes, I am wondering if Asher ever divorces Khirad? I see he does not even get married...........and of course Khirad doesn't get married either. Does Sara wait for him for 4 years too? I wish they would have shown more scenes of how difficult it is to raise a newborn as a single parent........where does she stay? does she stay with Batool Khala the whole time? I feel this is very the direction could have been better.
re: -HUMSAFAR-
really can't wait for the next episode. How many episodes total? I would love the see the scenes between Asher and Khirad now? and how Asher reacts....

I agree they could have shown at least one scene with Khirad juggling her job and a baby rather than showing that Long dialogue of how she doesn't care for Asher anymore and showing Sara doing her yoga pose. Totally unnecessary. But I'm still glad the story has moved forward after 3 episodes of dragging. There are only 5 or 6 more epis left so I have a feeling they are going to rush through A Lot of stuff and probably do a rushed ending like the novel.
re: -HUMSAFAR-
I think this episode was great and the scene between khirad and baby was so cute....loved it....and khirad and Batool Khala scene want bad eithe but they could have cut out the yoga scene and the stupid ashar-Sara office scene..
Cannot wait till next weeks eps. Ahhhh!
re: -HUMSAFAR-
And serosiy where the hell is khizar ....it's been four years!
re: -HUMSAFAR-
^ they showed a 5 minute period of "chaar saal baad" - do we really need to see that slime bag in the last five minutes of the episode - no thank you :) He'll come later with his thappar from Asher.
re: -HUMSAFAR-
A better episode than last weeks. So glad that we’re past 4 years now…Finally!
Ashar has acquired glasses, Sara is still doing yoga, hasn’t helped much though…she also acquired a new shirt - redish orange one rather than her bleak gray and black shirts. Really not sad about hearing about Khizar…khas kam jahan paak! Freak.
Agreed about the rather long scene between Batool khala & Khirad…they could’ve shown khirad struggling in flash-forward? sequence or hareem growing up? The daunting look on Khirad’s face was very well done…she looks malnourished, sick, exhausted.
I did appreciate the fact that they explained some of the things in this episode about why Batool khala and Khirad do not go to Karachi.
The post birth scene where khirad is talking to a bundle of sheets ( borrowed from Rukhsar
) would’ve been much more effective, had we been able to put a face to the baby. Audience would’ve connected with the “awww” moment much better that way.
Looking forward to next epi. The confrontation. Dishun dishun!!!
re: -HUMSAFAR-
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. love my asher and khirad! it's picking up pace.
i love how she presented the file to him, no nonsense included, no melodrama. :D heheh.
i think unlike most of you i liked the phone scene with asher at the hospital.
and when the showed sara 4 years later..i was just like please don't be married to him, pleaseeee. hahah
and NOW i see the significance of the blood group scene. well done!

re: -HUMSAFAR-
Where was khizar mentioned in this episode ?
re: -HUMSAFAR-
AH! This episode was awesome! I'm so glad they finally went 4 years ahead and judging from the preview, the next episode is going to be awesome! I was praying Asher didn't get married to Sara (my parents thought he would be married for sure!) and thank god he was still single. I do have to give it up to Sara for still being the same clingy-bag-of-ruins that she was.
Can't wait for the next episode! I will be so sad when the series is over. We need more dramas from the Director!
