re: -HUMSAFAR-

He said he hates ashar hussains guts he hates him. He said that about three times and the the episode ended. Lol. Dk why they ended the eps on his stupid self. Lol

re: -HUMSAFAR-

hahaha. ok, so he sucks. and needs to leave khirad and her dupatey alone :@ :@ :@

re: -HUMSAFAR-

I don't get what's going on in the pre cap w that khizar scene

re: -HUMSAFAR-

^ it's a little different than what is in the novel. I am waiting for the twist.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

it's to set the stage for the next episode. I think it was a good way to end it. Just like last week as Sehar had pointed out, they had ended on a half darkened face of Asher which perfectly set the stage for Asher's behavior in today's epi.
I like how Sarmad inserts these mini film noir touches :-D Kinda neat.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

Ok if there changing stuff in the novel I hope they change future scenes as well.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

Very nice episode! I really liked how the built up Ashars character in the beginning like a flawless, loving and mature husband and now we are seeing, he is just human like the rest ..

re: -HUMSAFAR-

And by happy , please let it be more then one or two last eps. Hehe

re: -HUMSAFAR-

i must say ... Mahira and Fawad acting is mindblowing! their expressions, dialogue delivery, body langugage ... 10/10\

and i cant help but say tht Asher in tht washroom scene where hes getting ready! he looks really handsome! :D
same goes for Mahira! with almost no makeup ... she still looks beautiful! loved her white kurta!

re: -HUMSAFAR-

It was a superb episode regarding the acting and direction.Although it made me sad to see how things were getting between the two,but both of them are doing a great job and IMO Mahira has been the most impressive in this episode.
The way Asher is behaving seems weird.I have said it before as well, that mostly we will not expect this kind of behavior from a person who was portrayed to be a very mature and sensible fellow initially. But then maybe it happens.
There were times I really wished he would just say something to Khirad especially when he comes and tells her that he is leaving for a week and she starts crying afterwards and when she goes into the living room and gives reasons as to why he might be naraz and he tells her to go to her room.
Someone mentioned (not sure here or on FB) that Khirad should have been more stern, but if you think about the way things have changed all of a sudden for her,she actually has no clue what is happening and I think her character is behaving very appropriately.

Khizar and Sara seem to be made for each other. They should get married and go away,in the ideal drama...
I am also liking the twist from the actual novel.

The clip for the next week was depressing...!!But the scene when both Khirad and Asher are talking on the phone, you can so sense the feelings in their voices and their looks. But I know things will get ruined...:(

And lastly QB voice added the magic..!

re: -HUMSAFAR-

Their phone conversation on the phone is so sweet and makes you wanna cry. Lol
But what different about the twist from the novel ?

re: -HUMSAFAR-

enjoy the full track! =)

re: -HUMSAFAR-

exactly! what kind of short lived ‘love’ was that!? despite his fathers last words about her being naive and him admitting that he has fallen in love with her because of her innocence, simplicity and honesty…how can he suddenly be so suspicious of her character and intentions?! makes no sense to me…getting too sad for me to watch, just so unfair.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

^^ DB most people are saying that it is his own insecurities that are getting the best of him. I have read an interesting analysis on another forum which I'll post here because like you, I am still going "what the heck Asher!"

I dont think Ashar is jealous per se of Khizar. To me, the issue is more about his own frustrations with his insecurities. AS a succesful businessman he cannot fathom his own response to Khizar, much less verbalize it. He’s very conscious of the age difference b/w him and Khirad. He’s afraid that Khirad might be attracted to Khizar, b/c of his relative youth and zinda dili (the references to Ashar being a buddhi rooh in this and an earlier episode). And the reason he can’t confront Khirad about it is because then in his mind he would no longer be an open-minded, modern, liberal, man of the world, rather he would be no better than the ordinary man on the street, who is insecure, conservative. Also, Khizar keeps complimenting her, and keeps telling everybody about how well Khirad is doing in her studies and all these things also worry Ashar that now she’s getting a taste of her own self-worth and socializing with other people her own age, would she also feel confined by him, his age, his idiosycracies and traped by hhe responsibilities of her marriage.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

^^well that is another way of looking at Asher's character. Thanks for sharing.
Btw any sane person would behave differently around that chipkoo and mega annoying Khizar...!!
