Oh yeah...that was a picture Hareem had seen in one of Khirad's lockets.She had been wearing it when she was forced to leave and I think she threw it away when she totally gave up on Asher and it got stuck in some bag and later on Hareem saw it and was told that this was her 'papa',hence the 'picture walay papa'.
That locket had been a gift from Ahser to Khirad...
^MJ talked about making Mata-e-jaan into a drama on her facebook page many times, she was even asking people to come and audition for some roles if they would be interested. But personally i want to see an already established actress as Haniya and Fawad as Abad :D niewbies tend to screw their first time drama and i dont want Mata ruineddd !!

The story was nothing new but presentation was so appealing. As a writer when u can take s*omething so ordinary and turn into an extraordinary blockbuster* thats Talent. Absolutely loved some of the dialogues....I didn't really think they were filmy. This was a drama the entire family could watch including young children. it was a love story clean enough to watch with your young children and grandmas.
Actually, We are sort of agreeing on the same point. The presentation of an ordinary story is actually down to the director. Also most dialogues were nice but in a shoddy director's hand would have sounded a lot filmy. And I totally agree that the drama was clean and not vulgar like the other dramas and appreciated that a lot about Humsafar. Don't get me wrong I loved this drama too, just think that most of the credit should go to the people who actually deserve it.
Me too but it would too painful. We either have learn to read it as written or somebody should make novels on tape. Another idea for simebody looking or a business venture. Maybe I could follow along the roman Urdu if somebody was ready aloud.
It is finished.. :( I like the dialogues used between mother and son and love that they didn't make a big song and dance of the reunion but I always feel like they have cut too many scenes which is why it feels a little jilted in conversation sometimes.
I expected the rain scene but not letting the hair down.. nice touch :)
The aquafina water ad is really good. Fawad and mahira have amazing have amazing chemistry together. I just hope life doesn't imitate art. Honestly how are their spouses putting up with this?
