sarmad is one director who just does not casts actors and actresses based entirely on looks fortunately, for him talent is a prerequisite, evident in all his plays and the main reason why his plays are such a success. as he said in an interview once, he likes working with ‘intelligent’ actors because that reflects in their on air personality and in every role they play in comparison to pretty faces who can memorize and deliver lines just fine but they fail to leave any impact or do justice to the character. brilliant! we need more directors like him!
