Falling bear
A black bear falls from a tree in the median strip of Route 29 near Charlottesville, Va. on April 11 after being tranquilized by wildlife officials. The bear climbed the tree after being hit by a car the previous evening. Virginia wildlife officials said they brought the bear in to treat a broken leg that it suffered in the collision.
