Is it really essential in the relationship?!?! if yes then why??!!? i gather relationship is supposed to be taken very seriously .. then why almost every one (either male or female) lists humor as being necessary in their propective mates?!
Relationships should be taken seriously doesn’t mean one has to be serious all the time you dumbo ![]()
If there will be no humor no one would laugh, if no one would laugh how would he/she be happy? If they won’t be happy relationship won’t be healthy despite all its seriousness ![]()
Did i make any sense? I doubt it ![]()
Just yesterday I was talking to a very good friend of mine and he said something that I found funny, but he was being very serious. He gave me a lecture for 10 minutes on why it was not funny and why I should be serious at such times. I told him I cant help it that I laugh a lot. I think its important in a relationship.
I think some ppl are more serious than others. And everyone has their own idea of what level of humor should be in a relationship.
men may actually mean it.. women just say it cuz they don't want to come out and say what they really want in men..
Honestly, I dont think there is norm to compare relationships too.
Just like every indv. is different every relationship is different too...
personally I can't stand jokers! I need someone more on the serious side.
Honestly, the whole relationship thing between a man and a woman is humor in itself. It's based on lies, deception and narcism. A person is in a relationship with him/her self. The other person is only a reflection.
^ hawww hai.. and all this time I kept thinking you were just an old lonely perv. ![]()
you weren’t that off MuniYa.. two out of three ain’t bad.. :k:
I would've thought that getting married is proof enough that you've got a sense of humour.

there is a difference between taking relationship seriously and making it seem that way too. :~)
having a laugh with someone draws you close to him/her, so better watch who you laugh with next time.
yes, its important in relationship that you know how to make other laugh in rough times, when other is in sad mood for any reason.

Exactly. You don't want a jokster who doesn't take serious situations seriously...BUT it's wonderful having someone who'll make you laugh, your heart light when you're down...or just blah. :)
