our pediatrician always recommended warm mist humidifiers during winter (when heater is on)

Thats funny. We were recommended a cold mist humidifier for the winter season. Kept midget from waking up every hour just for a sip of milk cuz the dry air was making him thirsty.

I remember doing a whole survey on this vaporizer vs hunidifier and then cold mist vs warm mist..... Dont remember jack now..... Look it up.

I use vaporizer. I remember doing a search too and cannot recall what I found but chose to get a vaporizer.
