So…in 50-100 years from now, what do you think life will be like given that our population growth has been growing exponentially for the past 2000 years?

I am sure another tsunami, earthquake, natural disasters etc. will keep over population in check. otherwise Indians are planning to colonize moon so they'll probably have some inami-scheme going on.

There have been other disasters in the past that have wiped out civilisations. Bible Quran they all talk about it (historical perspective).

human population has neither grown exponentially nor only in the last 2000 years. How the heck did you come up with that?

Atlantis, you are correct. I looked into it a bit more, and it turns out we've been going steady for the past 40 years.
However 2000 years prior to that - it has been exponential growth. They say we're hitting our carrying capacity now.
I guess more natural disasters and maybe some epidemics coming up to keep the levels stable?

I dont know about other resources but we will certainly run out of our major energy source - Oil, if we continue to use it at this rate.
