Human cost of Military strategy

I dont know much about the going ons of pakistani media. Sincepakistani administration now consider itself at war with taliban therefore no footage is to be shown that can lends any form of platform to militants. However that also means subduing the voices of those pakistani civilians who are effected by the current operations and vehmently criticise the use of excessive force. Does this strategy secure our nation from being radicalised? will this bring us peace and prosperity. See the coverage that was broadcasted in SBS and atleast this brings us the reaction of those people that are being displaced and disadvantaged.

SBS Dateline | The Battle for Pakistan

I dont know how to embed the video so if anyone does feel free to make it more accessible.

^^^

Terror sympathizers are getting so desperate. The link is OOOOOOOLD (Feb 15 2009).

"Sophie McNeill travels to the remote tribal regions of north-west Pakistan, to see how the country's new civilian government is coping with the Taliban insurgency.

Despite the Pakistani army's seemingly determined efforts to root out the militants – they're making little headway.

The fighting is fierce and has already claimed the lives of around 1,500 Pakistani soldiers – three times the number of American soldiers who have died fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan.

The troops are also accused of using excessive force - killing innocent civilians and displacing over half a million people.
On air: 15th February 2009"

Why on earth people spread lies all in the name of Islam? and HUUUMMMAAAN suffering?

When everyone and their cousin knows that the first offenders of human rights are the

ISLAMIST TALIBLEESI Quom.

Re: Human cost of Military strategy

All thanks to taliban and their use of pakistan as terror central.

LOL, just saw that they labeled Swat as Bajaur in their documentary.

yes great now that you two human right activists have responded. i am sure there is no more human cost involved.

Human cost as a result of takfiri terrorism. Your failure to except the root cause of the problem will lead you to nothing but confusion and lack of understanding.

Re: Human cost of Military strategy

^root cause as per you? the video isnt talking about the root cause or the lack of it rather talking about hte use of excessive force. bit hard to grasp it but when you finally manage, try to think in terms of displaced people and corrupt govt . might give you hope for future, doesnt to me.

that isnt saying much.

Yeah. And this whole thread based on 7 months old video says TOO MUCH! hahahha.

^bhai sahab its hard to get the fresh footage because the media isnt free to air or visit the areas. This footage might be old but it is covering areas where military operation took place and i am sure they didnt arrange the whole thing, hire artist and make up artists to put the burns on children and elder. Meanwhile your compassion is touching and duly noted.
