Guys lets not get side tracked here because like TLK said this behes has no answer - it ultimately comes down to faith and this is science forum.

Back to topic - Dr. L brings up a good point. Is a perfect organism one where it never dies off and always functions at its optimal? Logically that sounds perfect but would that really be a human then or a machine? Even machines aren’t perfect. So, I think the concept of perfection in a living organism isn’t exactly possible.

I think it is. Some in this thread are obsessed with physical perfection. I have demonstrated that humans are infact, NOT perfect.

But if physical form of DESIGN alludes to perfectness, then there are some beings on this planet that out perform machines let alone our crappy human bodies.

Lobsters: 100 years
Bowhead Whales: 175 years
Giant Tortise: 255 years
Deep Sea Oyster: 500 years

amazed? I wouldn’t be. Perfectness doesn’t touch these beings compared to a little jellyfish…

Turritopsis Dohrni: Immortal.

when things get tough it can change. It begins to grow younger. It moves onto a surface and grips on tightly. Then it slowly becomes a blob. As a blob it performs the special process, transdifferentiation. The jellyfish emerges as a perfectly formed child, ready to live all over again. As long as the jellyfish isn’t killed and doesn’t evaporate (it’s 95% water), scientists expect that the trick can be repeated infinitely. Making it the only possibly immortal creature. perfect.
