Anyone know anything about her? Oddly her family seems super religious, Wahabbi even in fact, and she is the total opposite. I can’t figure out how she married Weiner ?

what do you wana know? There are books written on Huma. Daughter of a urdu speaking Pakistani parents originally migrated from India. Its hard to say if her parents are wahabbi cuz just becuz someone stayed in KSA doesnt make one wahabbi.
There are several journalists teams who investigated in her parents, not to mention republicans, to make a case if they can be linked to funding terrorists in particular Palestinian groups.
Huma is a great intellect. She has worked very hard to reach this stage. I’m sure one can totally understand the opposition she must be getting 24x7 as a woman, rather from a desi family.
Now I know most muslims dont even wana recognize her as a muslim especially after marrying weiner. But she is still way better than other desis. She doesnt drink socially, no sleeping around scandal. And i cant even tell how much she supports other muslim political figures who are just a handful unfortunately.
Its just Anthony Effing weiner thats coming out as the worst decision of her and democrats

O and btw regarding yr last question, it was a love marriage. They met in a political event and like so many other ladies, she fell for him.

Huma Abeddin is an accomplished lady. Her drinking socially or not has nothing to do with whether she is accomplished or not. Neither does what she does in the privacy of her bedroom have anything to do with her being an accomplished woman. Why exactly should we be proud of her? because she shares the same skin tone with us. Her ethics and greed have been questioned. Also I personally don’t think that social drinking or what goes on in ones bedroom are relevant to morality.

Her hard work, her overcoming obstacles one after the other to be most likely the new chief of staff in WH, and her immense support to community. I dont think you need any other reason.
If you think its a piece of cake for a woman from our background to reach there then all I can say is hallelujah.
You can question all what you want but as I said there have been so many investigations on her personality, family and background and nothing could be found. If only “questioning” is the main concern then yes recently bernie sanders was questioned for purchasing a 0.6 million property so should we call him corrupt, greedy etc?

She seems like a self-hating desi to me. She has no ethnic ties whatsoever, and I find that odd for someone that was raised in Saudi and has parents who are so “conservative”. Although the kind of anti-feminist Saudi-wahabi trash her mom spews in the guise of “academics” is not conservative.

Regardless, she will now be used to bring Clinton down. People will point out that she is very influential of the presidential candidate, and then watch, slowly her background, her religion, her family culture, etc will be brought to light. The Republican party will have a heyday with this.
Hahahahahaha, the press on CNN is questioning, “How did we not know about this girl for all these years?”, and the commentators are saying “She stays out of the press, so we don’t know much about her”.
Well, I guess you try super hard to kiss white behind, eventually, you will get kicked on the face. (She didn’t even wear a proper wedding dress, she wore some Oscar de la renta white gown. Clearly this woman isn’t even practicing an iota of her culture, but you watch how her “Pakistani” “Muslim” background will now be used against her and the Clinton party.

I don’t admire people based on the tone of their skin color, being desi is not a handicap, there are tons of very accomplished desis, like heads of corporations making in billions. Her ethics of making a hefty salary from a consultant while working for govt have been questioned. Her biggest criticism would be to have stuck by the pedo husband. When you are in such a position you cant be involved with pervs.

Becoming a corporate world executive and be one of the key person in one of the two political parties are far different things. But well what do I know.
