Wow, I loved the first episode! From the direction to the acting to the dialogue - so far, this drama is looking very promising on every front.
How cute is Sanjha? I love that childlike innocence she possesses with a hint of definite potential for doing much greater things beyond her station in life.
I love how protective her sister is of her and how much she really wants her to continue studying, despite how desperately in need of money they are.
Bhakshoo is such an oxymoron to me - one minute he has me rolling on the floor while he belts out Bollywood tunes and acts generally crazy, and the next minute I'm repulsed by how self-absorbed he is and doesn't spare a thought for his family.
Here's hoping this drama only gets better with each passing episode!

Saw the first episode a little more than halfway... didn't find it to be my cup of tea. :)

Agreed the drama does have a potential to grab viewer's attention. From the recent promos being on aired, I loved the acting of Noman Ejaz and Ayesha Alam (acting after many years).

Depends what kind of subjects you like. The story is about a young village girl who was sold by her brother-in-law and how she faces difficulties thereafter. The direction and expected powerful performances by Noman Ejaz, Ayesha Alam, Resham, Imran Aslam and of course Sabreen Hisbani are the plus points for this drama.

Loved the first episode! What beautiful visuals of interior sindh/desert in contrast with characters' bright colorful clothes. Sabreen's got the sindhi accent right. Rehan Sheikh is hilarious. Sanjhaa is cute! Looking forward to the next epi.

Yes the drama has a track on Bazar e Husn and thats why it was originally named 'Mandi', but I think its different than 'Aakhri Barish' which totally revolves around Bazar e Husn.

^ yeah I have a feeling it's going to be all about 'bazar-e-husn' and the Thar aspect is just thrown in at the beginning as a "hook".

^ I don't think so that Sabreen role will end soon. I think the story will remain connected with Thar through Sabreen's and Yasir Shoro's characters.

^ Let's hope so. It's a Samira Fazal script so I am not very optimistic that she can carry such complex subjects on her shoulders.

^ I think Resham's role will start by episode 5. In between we will have to watch chemistry between two negative characters played by Ayesha Alam & Noman Ejaz.

Overall nice episode, lol rehan sheik is so funny, love the way he laughs

This is gonna be an awesome drama. I like how they picked girls who are actually dark and look the part as oppose to models.

According to an interview of the cast involved this is based on human trafficking which is all too common within Pakistan, that issue will be highlighted more than the bazar e hussn aspect...let's hope so! Don't want to see another version of 'akhri barish'
