Recently i have started to feel as if Hum TV is not producing quality dramas at all. I started liking it because it offered different story lines and plots etc than your standard saas-bahu dramas. (my love for HumTv started with Humsafar after everyone raved about it and then i just had to watch others like Maat, Mata e Jaan, Bilqees Kaur, Aseerzadi the list can go on!) then it has started going downhill from there, like these recent ones such as kisey apna kahaein, Muhabbat subh.. Hum Thehray Gunahgaar, like its the same old story line now, someone has to die and the woman is always rejected etc, evil saas…
Im really liking ARY dramas (Shukk, Bay Emaan Mohabbat…) and especially GEO ones, Khuda aur Mohabbat, Rukhsaar, ayegi baraat saga and especially BASHAR MOMIN:wub: as they still offer different storylines,
So HumTV has gone down whilst ARY and Geo has gotten better. Who agrees?
I agree. However I liked 'Hum Thehray Gunahgaar' and still watch 'Kisay Apna Kahen'. The poor father continues to make the wrong decisions for his daughters.
Well HUM TV is no longer part of the main package being broadcasted in the states. They want you to pay extra if you want HUM, and already having these channels through dish is expensive enough.
So their viewership probably went down and dollar earnings probably went down, and now they're not able to pay for the nice dramas.
Sad. Stupid decision to step out of the package, they were a really good channel.
Yeh kesay soch liya.. kay Hum TV sirf US ki viewership par hi inhesar karta hia… usko Pakistan say ads mil jatay hiain… aur drama ki quality ka koi direct relation US viewership say nahi hota hia… read my thread on TV script…
With flashback scenes in the very first episode you don’t understand a thing.I like the direction looks like bee gul directed it like the way she wanted to.
