I heard the music for the first time yesterday! My 10 year old cousin goes " yeh to Booh e Bariyaan" ki copy hay!
This is just sad! Such a big movie and they copy a Pakistani song! I think Hadiqa should do something about it! THE TUNE IS EXACTLY THE SAME, its just pathetic!
I suppose it makes up for all the musical ripoffs on Indian music in Pakistan.
However, it is truly a compliment to see Indians copying Pakistani music. Plus, it proves that they aren't the best musical gurus after all.

I don't recall 'Booh-e-Barian' by Hadiqa, and I have not heard that song in the movie, but from the sound of it, it seems like a folk song. Is it?
And if it is, then it is hardly posssible to copyright a folk song cz these are traditional songs and are sung by many singers over the years in the region.
Regardless, when was the last time copyrights were enforced in Pakistan/India?

there is a pure song like that in arabic, i have it on MD…
so who cares about copying as long as the song sounds good…
