Dekha palat k us ne k hasrat usay bhi thi
Hum jis pe mitt gae thay mohabbat usay bhi thi

Chupp ho gya tha dekh kar wo bhi idhr udhar
Dunya se meri tarha shikayat usay bhi thi

Ye soch kar andhere galay se laga liye
Raaton ko jaagne ki aadat usay bhi thi

Wo ro dia tha mujh ko pareshaan dekh kar
Us din khula k meri zaroorat usay bhi thi

Unn patharon k sath nibhani pari usay
Jin se faqat mujhe nahi, nafrat usay bhi thi
