But I do have a problem with kalasra’s thinking regarding that indian parliamentarian’s comment. Kashmir is an unfinished agenda of partition, while under why authority would pakistan tell india to do this and that for indian muslims? Wouldn’t pakistani interference further PROVE that that indian muslims are fifth columnists and should be burned in 1000 godhras? I can also bet that these same indian muslims, especially the deoband kind, would tell pakistan to shove it if it did say anything for them; I know indian hyderabadis etc who would look down upon a pakistani and rather go sit with rakesh, mukesh who didn’t even like them. The only difference was after the gujarat riots where they actually came and sat down with the pakistanis.

The Gujrati/Hyderabadi Indian Muslims in general appear seemingly more religious looking than their Pakistani counterparts. The deobandi types hate Pakistan for not being a “proper” Islamic country.

Pakistan doesn’t need to get involved in Indian Muslims’ issue at all. Hindu extremists already abuse Kashmiris and India Muslims to vent their hatred for Pakistan. They are the proxy punching bags for all their anti Pakistan sentiments. Pakistan becoming their accidental spokesperson would risk so many innocent peoples’ lives in India.
