Oopssss, I made an error. I meant to say hugging and shaking hands with the opposite gender is not allowed in Islam. I accidently wrote 'now'.

If he ‘respects’ it then he should mean it.
What kind of a guy would respect your beliefs on one hand and trash the religion on the other. That’s not respect, far from it.
If he doesn’t understand why you can’t hug him then explain it to him if you are knowledable or guide him to the sources which would answer his questions or simply tell the guy too bad.

Yeah sharabi, you tell them. main tu samjha samjha ke thak gaya hoon, Admin ko samjhao… ke kisi naik shareef our emaandar admi ko select karain.
