Did any of you ever get ripped off by such a scam 
I quote an example to explain what I mean.
I was recently looking for a laptop. So I went to this website. Registered myself and all that blah blah blah. Then they asked me to choose a system. I click on something that says STARTING FROM $499.
That seems like dirt cheap, considering the lash pash system 
that was being displayed on the screen. Anyway - As soon as I click it - it GUIDES me through the SELECTION PROCESS 
They hide that rip-off under the fancy name of āHELPING YOU BUILD YOUR OWN COMPUTERā . Anyway the first question it asks me is āWhat monitor do you wantā and offers me a drop down menu. I click on something and then move on.
It keeps on asking me questions, about processor, hardware, software, CD burner. I just keep choosing - totally unaware of what was happening ā¦
Finally it congratulates me and I see a total price tag of $ 1275.00 in the right hand corner 
. Every click was adding something to the BASE system price.
Now what the hell was that BASE SYSTEM 
. I was charged for everything including the Processor, the monitor, the cat and the Mouse 
Dirty cheatersā¦
I bought it thinking itāll be better but it kept breaking down more than other computers. In 5 years, I had to format it about 8 times
