Hi everyone!
Does anybody know where I can find those really large round/square antique looking or Jodha-Akbar style rings? Mishi Khan wears them a lot in her shows too. I’ve been trying to look for a picture but have been out of luck..
Hopefully somebody knows what I’m talking about…I want to ask my aunt to buy one from Lahore..I just dont know where I can get one.
Round/Antique style cover almost 3 fingers…Kundan will be okay too..not necessarily real gold…
Any pictures or places will be greatly appreciated

well u can let make such a ring from jodha akbar in pak. u can make it artificial and washed in goldwater or in gold. the last ring was kundan…and how i remeber the things ash was wearing was kundan… so just go to a jeweler and tell him the size he will make it for u…

those are made of Kundan with the mirror in the middle.. pretty much can get them made anywhere!

Thanks for all your replies...its' the Jodha Akbar ring...the Kundan style with a mirror..I have an Aunt who has been searching all over Lahore to find one..but no luck...anywhere in particular..

Huge kundan rings
Is it appropriate to wear it at your own wedding? I really like those but my mom thinks it looks weird.
Did any of you wear it at your wedding or see other brides wearing those?

have seen plenty of brides wearing em, but mostly on mehndi. Havent seen many wearing em on Barat. But i think its entirely upto u.

I am not having a mehndi. I was thinking of wearing it either at wedding or valima.. I sooooo want to wear it but my mom is saying it looks weird and no one wears it..

Nahi I dont think they look weird. As long as its a pretty piece and compliments ur dress and jewellery then go for it.

Yep my uncles wife wore one for her wedding, it looked so good it was big, and she wore a small tikka. So normally ppl wear smalls rings and huuge tikka/jhoomar, hers was the other way around and looked very very classy indeed!

i’m soo glad someone started this thread…my bridal jewelry is all kundan…so i wanted to wear a big kundan jodha akbar ring, but my mom is against it! she is against fake jewelry but i think it would look sooo nice! I think it would look really royal…she thinks it will look tacky…here is what i want to wear.
