A high-intensity blast occurred at the Rangers Headquarters in Karachi’s North Nazimabad area early Thursday, DawnNews reported.
According to media reports, a truck slammed into one of the entrances of the Rangers compound killing one person and leaving more than a dozen injured, including civilians.
The blast was heard across the city as fear and panic gripped the citizens. The blast caused damaged to nearby buildings and shattered windows in the vicinity.
Emergency and rescue teams had reached the site after the explosion.
A portion of a building, inside the Rangers compound and efforts were being made to put them out.
The injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
The area was cordoned off by security forces as investigations into the incident went underway.

that is a big lie. i dont believe it how can they lie this much. The blast was so intense it impact was felt in far areas, in gulshen site people came out of their houses thinking its an earth-quick, even doors and windows of my house were shaking while my house is far from gulshan and only one person got killed.
and another guy who claims to know everything,who is waiting for the rite time..or may be waiting for right number of dead bodies.

Now there are some who say that anyone can make such a call and blame it on Taliban. To answer such Taliban apologists, I say that if someone falsely proclaimed responsibility on behalf of Taliban then the real Taliban should come forward and deny this claim.
