this is peach. that’s orange. look at the bottom of the lehnga. it shows orange not peach.

I think it must be minimum 2 lakh rupees because his bridal clothes are expensive.

most designers dont do bridals for less than 2 lakh anymore..because there is no margin of profit in heavy dresses less than that. If you want something less heavy they might do them for 1 lakh or less.

My friend, well friend's friend, lol got the same dress made, just more silver kaam added in, and she had a rusted gold, her's came out to be almost $3500...well she got her wedding and valima made for i think $7000!!! I will ask her if i can post some pics up...
i’d say just go anywhere on tariq road and get it done yourself for wayyy less

Another is hajra Hayat, she made this pink & golden combo dress and even tho I am 17 and have a few years to go til my big day, I already told my mom that I want that, lol
and a red one (you wear the red dress on the Barat right?or is the walima? Grr...i cant remember) should be from karma, my cousin had hers made from Karma recently and it was STUNNIG! Red with silver kaaam and gor her jewelery she had black gold...you know how you can get that done nowadays...? her look was simple,elegant and stress on simple

Actually, according to Saad Ali of Karma, profit margins are the highest for bridals but according to him, the vloumes are low (every other person knows someone who wore Karma on ther wedding...and the volumes are low!). Anyways...even if Saad Ali hadn't said this...it would be reasonable to assume that designers bank on bridals. Why? Because people are willing to pay for it. They convince themselves to go all out because it's a once in a lifetime opportunity. And if we are to say that designer bridals are sooo expensive because of the amount of work...most designs seen these days are light. It's the creativity/placement of work that makes them unique and therefore people are willing to pay big bucks.
A more economical thing to do (if you are not able/willing to spend a large amount of money) would be to choose what you like (it can be one or more peices) and find soemone who will make it for you. And when people say...a copy is never like the orginal...I say what's wrong with that? Just because it's not the same doesn't mean it's bad. And why would you want a run-of-the-mill design anyways?
