**Okay so I need help with the following… Suddenly a document named “hs_err_pid2980” appeared at my desktop yesterday… Don’t know what it is and where it came from. So what I actually want to know is… What kind of document is it, and why how did it came on my desktop? Is it harmful to my pc? And what exactly is meant by “an unexpected exception has been detected in native code outside the VM”? What is VM? :confused:

VM = JVM = Java Virtual Machine
It was probably some poorly written Java applet on a website that crashed when it was run. If you closed your browser the problem is gone. Unless its an important website stay away from it. If it is important contact the webmaster/developer.

Ehh.. It was GupShup’s chat service :halo:

I was trying whether it worked for me as well or not… I got through in the end, but then this appeared. (And yes, I did turn the Internet Security off for a minute :halo: ) So should I remove the file and just go on… or do I really need to contact the webmaster of GupShup? I thought GS was safe :confused:

shut off your pc, disconnect it from internet, disconnect all cables, pack the computer, put the packages into vault, lock it, and destroy the key..

**T H A T *is *total-security.. gupshup or ANY other site WILL hack your computer, leave smelly socks on your computer desk, call ur parents to show those socks, fakely call ur work that u r sick, put up ur pics on the net without telling u and will re-program your microwave to burn WHATEVER u put in for heating or just plainly warming up ..

Re-install Java, that should do it. If this keeps happenenig.

And lose that crappy MSN tooldbar, the Yahoo toolbar and that other searchbar you have up there..

khamokhwaan-khamoshi ji, add remove programs, take away microsoft or sun-based java, restart (no matter errors there or not) and re-install freshly-downloaded copy of java web from java.com, restart AGAIN.. this should fix whatever was there.. and dont listen to mal1k :smiley: (cuz he used 24 hrs CCTV protection in his reply) :hehe:
