Just recently passed out from RMA Sandhurst and is acting indeed like a charming prince in arms- something which people dont quite associate with him under his brother’s overshadowing personailty.
The prince has joined the Blues & Royals Cavalry regiment and is undergoing a junior officers’ command course.
He wants to serve on the frontline somewhere, probably Iraq or Afghanistan and has threatened to resign if he is held back from “serving with the boys”, “fighting for the country”. His unit is expected to ship out to the frontline shortly and he’s made it clear he’s keen on going with it. But not surprisngly the Army, the ministry of defense and the Palace, all have expressed obvious reservations.
