How's your relationship with God?

I got a mail from a friend the other day, which reminded me of some of the conversations I’ve had with Allah swt. Some ppl, will find the idea of ‘talking’ to Allah swt or whatever you believe in quite disturbing in a way. But then again, if you can’t be open and honest with Allah swt, you’re kinda doomed, cuz he’ll know anyway :stuck_out_tongue:

Funniest thing I’ve ever told Allah swt was right after a failure was ke, ‘enough is enough, I do not want to play this game anymore’. He just gave me more strength so that I could win, but He didn’t stop  That was pretty kind of Him and I did thank Him later.

Apart from the serious complains and all, I also have some very special moments with Him. Like when I look up and ‘feel’ that He’s smiling at me  Yep, I know he loves me too.

So how do you feel ‘talking’ to Him?

How's your relationship with God?

Very personal.

You have to keep your relations both with God and Satan working. You can not forget about Satan cos He is equaly powerfull and can casuse problems for you.

What wrong have you done to feel guilty about? Did you break someone’s heart or did you kill someone. what is that which makes you feel guilty and reduced you to less than human?

Irem, Allah swt is naraz with you? Aho, cuz you deserve it :p Look at you Irem, you must be smiling 24/7 and still you think Allah is naraz, what for?

i dont have a good relationship with Allah myaan <<

Its never too late - I think most ppl are too scared of going wrong when talking to Allah, most of us would hate to disrespect, and most of the times the fear is baseless. Its all confidential, He's not gonna tell anyone what you've just told him. And even if you go wrong, jaise you tell Him that he's not fair and all. You can regret when you realize your mistake, He'll have to forgive, cuz he loves you :)

Sher, my satan is on drugs, he's dizzy most of the times so I don't have to bother about him too much.

I have wonderful relations with GOD, I need him for peace. All those days when I am busy in other things or delibrately avoid Namaz or other prayers. i feel something is missing. But shahtan takes over me at times. And I feel every thing is going upside down. Not the way I had planned or the way I like. I do not sleep also well. I try to come back on track but it takes me some days. I have to really put my effort to be good.God has never disappointed me ever ,he has always answered my prayers. If I tell you God has given some TAAseer in my tongue ,Perhaps you would believe it. May be, because God has special kindness on me. I spoke first sentence when I was just five months old.

I was dead with pneumenia.Doctor has covered me with white sheet. My mother sat down beside me and started praying by reciting some douwas renowned to be with issam e Azam. One of which has name as Douwaei Mashlool. She opened the sheed to blow air of douwa on my face. As she did that I opened my eyes and said moulla pachate nahein. But I am alive since then. Pray for my life I am afraid; may be GOD does not like me telling you this. God forgive me for that please if it is wrong to tell. Wassalam sokoon

he neva leavez m alone so may b v r in good termz :)

Re: How’s your relationship with God?

:salam:

I’m a weird child  One year of my life (I was 8 years old at the time) my family and I lived in Saudi Arabia due to my dad’s job taking us there on an engineering project under a US contract. I was so corny…on drives back home from the main city where we would go on weekends to shop and whatnot, I’d sit in the backseat of the car having conversations with the moon! Corny right? I’d also question the darned thing for why it always followed us on the long stretch of highway from Hafr-al-Batan to King Khalid Military City (KKMC) every single time. I found it bizarre at the time. Anyhow, I would have long conversations with the moon while parents side in the front listening to golden oldie desi songs.

After many years passing by I had eventually come to the realization that the conversations I was supposedly having with the moon were actually with God, a force most powerful and all-knowing, but my child’s mind at the time gave God the form of the moon for some silly reason.

I have a pretty special relationship with God today. I ask His help when I need help, ask Him to help others in their times of need, question Him about the whys and hows of life, and ask His forgiveness on mistakes I have made or having hurt someone unintentionally.

Whether I get jannat or not after death, only Allah mian knows but I also know that our actions will speak for themselves on the day of judgement so I want to be as “good” a person as I can in this life, may God help me.
