By medicines or does a surgery need to be done? Are there any chances for it to resurface later on in life?
Re: How's PCOS treated?
Hi,
It depends upon size of the cyst in ovaries. The best way to have ultra sound first and if there are multiple small cysts then Glucophages doc usually recommends. However if size of the cyst is large then Surgery is best option.
However to treat consequences of PCOs is really challenging. You have to visit Dermatologist for laser hair removal and acne treatment and your Endocrinologist to control hormones and weight of body.
