awww i feel for u, whenever i c one of those gossipmonger aunties at the mall/road i just wave at them and smile and if they havent noticed me. I change my direction and act like i havent seen um (u should try it, it will work) Well if u already know if those aunts are visiting u, just go out of the house or stay in ur room acting as if u dont exist and if they arive at ur place unannounced then grab ur keys and act as if ur in a hurry and u have to be somewhere, say salam and just leave saying “i would have loved to stay here and talk to u wonderful ladies but unfortuantely i have to be some place”.

smile at them when they stare at you, ignore their rumors and dont stick up for your self as this was the way of our nabi (s), instead the angels will stick up for you.

Tell the aunties “with all due respect, I’m not interested in your advice, I want to live my own life”. Believe me, they’ll stop giving you advice, but they will spread rumors about you, you just have to get past it and let barking dogs lie.

Yeah, say something, react, adn then they spread rumours, trash your reputation, and ur saari izzat is down that porcelain hole in the floor they call a toilet

anyway bad luck for me MM i tried your advice the one for outside and god i could hear 2 aunties shouting my name followed with "beti" i acted as if i didnt see them and walked on but they kept shouting my name it was so embarassing because i had some friends with me who were wondering why i was so red and why i bombed it so fast away from there i said forget its a long story
and plus this afternoon they both came to our house without even telling us
i was like "oh damn " as usual salaam and aunti got hold of me and sais "beti kal mein aur tumhari aunty ne tumhai udhar library kai aas paas dekha aur humnai tumhai awazen di
lekin tumhai to sunai hi ni derahat ha" i said "oh acha aunty mujhey to nahi awaaz aie sorry" and she woz likle " koi baat ni vaise bhi ab to hum tumhare ghar again hain" i was so pissed off and to top it off she akked me the stupidest and personel questions everrrrrrrrr
who jo tumhare friends thi vo kis origine ki thi?kahan rehti hain ? acha tumhare saath hi parthi hai?? i mean what have tehy got to do with my friends then she added beti vaise mein dekhrahi hun tum din badin nahi friends banayo ho aur yeh achi baat nahi kyun kai aaj kal mahaul kharab karne vali larkiyan har jagaa maujood hai islye ithayat karo aur han beti tumne to meri betion kai saath ana jaana chor hi diya hai kya wajah???i wos like "aunty is mein meri koi ghalti nahi aap khud unko nahi lati jab aap aati hai she goes " tum ajaya karo na" i saI "oh to mein aapko farikh nazar aati hun aap khud unko yahan ni laati aur mein phir kyun aun aapki betiyan hi to hai jo NAKHRE KARTI hein aur yahan nahi ati to phir mere kya kaam" that shut her up for good mins but she was so theedh and added " theekh hai beta lekin mein to tumhare bhalai kai liye kerhai thi mein chahti hun kai tum meri betion kai saath dosti rakho takai tum sab logon aur kisi ki zarurat an ho" i said "aunty plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz aap apni betion ko apne apaas rekhain aur muhey chain se jine dain mere aur bohat sare friends hai so plz apne advice yahan hi khatam karden"
im so happy now i shut her up and let all the anger out i hope she understand dat I DONT
depend on her and i dont have to listen to her or take her advice
hope she leaves me alone and doesnt bug me outside
but afsos there are so many more desi aunties to handle who are same but different aik se bar kar aik annoying hai

Fact: Our ammis are evil aunties to some unsuspecting timid girl somewhere.

Dont generalize. My aunties are great. They only look after you, its genuine concern just answer them politely, dont be biased, being on their good side (not hard) will mean "achi batein" will spread in family.
