your stress and when you are feeling really down?
I tend to burry myself in work. My WORKING hrs are stretched to furthest limits. I know it’s not healthy but what the heck I get paid quite well for it.

Re: How you deal with
eat, drink, and sleep alot :D
Re: How you deal with
weep, excercise, and pray.
Re: How you deal with
I usually go to sleep, talk to someone I am close to, go out for excercise, read Quran, take a shower, read a good book.
If I am also depressed, than I feel like shedding tears as well, like now I am.
Re: How you deal with
^ aww why? feel better ![]()
Re: How you deal with
hmm so CRYING is a common factor so far!
Re: How you deal with
crying is not weeping, people !

Re: How you deal with
whats the difference?? they're synonyms..same meaning... both meant as an expression of grief, sorrow, pain, etc..
Re: How you deal with
argh… ok fine WEEPING is the common factor. ![]()

well technically they are different. :-) you can CRY with pain, but you WEEP only if you are emotionally moved.
Re: How you deal with
dear friends.
you are right.
here is another perspective i would like to offer.
phonetically, metaphorically and semantically
crying has to do with yelling - calling out, screaming, to lament for some injustice, or to indicate anger.
weeping is, on the other hand -
silent in nature originally, & liquid in property.
Re: How you deal with
shall I ask MOD to move this to S&P so we could have a detailed discussion over this ![]()
don’t take it wrong please.
PS: in simpler words, CRYING is the AGGRESSIVE form of the same emotion.

Re: How you deal with
Ok then Dushwari, thank you for clearing that out…
So for me Weeping is wat I do..weeping myself to sleep..
For stress..I usually bury myself in work/exercise/work/loud dukhi music…sure takes the edge off the weepines..:halo:
Re: How you deal with
I am not able to control my tears when my intentions are sincere and I end up hurting anyone.
Anyways, Thanks alot sister for the kind words of encouragement.
May Allah bless you and your family with all the blessings of this life and hereafter.

Re: How you deal with
get along with life. is thew stress related to any specific thing , then find your way out . if not -- give a new dimension to your thinking rather being sad and pitying over yourself

teh question is not WHAT should I DO. the topic is HOW you deal with it. :-)
Re: How you deal with
weeping or crying for your ownself is like pitying yourself .
i never meant to say that you are pitying over yourself . it was do never cry .. as some1 else would have mentioned it .
yes , grow out of the situation that stresses you .you have to find a way out becaz you know it better
