how would you calculate the speed of a train without using any instruments…just a calculator and a stopwatch is allowed. :slight_smile: you have been given certain specific info about the composition of the train. :)**

you do NOT need to see the pic of the train :slight_smile: tell us just the general methodology that u’ll use to know the speed.

if I know how long the train is and have stop watch and I am not inside the train but observing it from outside, I will be able to calculate it.

v = distance / time

you need to know the distance between station A and station B.
when train leave from station A, turn on stop watch and stop when it reach to station B.

nahiiN yaaraa...you are just standing by the track side and you just watched a train pass by...you don't have the distance between stations and/or the arrival and departure time at the stations :D
