how would you react if you find out that your in laws are hiding something from you..for example there is some problems in the family but they told everyone at home not to tell you just because you are not from the khandaan..everyone in the family including the other bahus (they are from the khandaan)
and then someone tell you about the problem and say they were told not to tell you because maybe you will tell your parents and they will make fun of the in laws

its just shows that you have not earn their trust yet. Just because you are bahu in the family does not mean that they are obligated to share all the secrets with you. Also that fact that they dont mind sharing with other bahus means that you have to earn it.
Angel25....i know how u feel my MIL does the same thing she hides things frm me only bc in not in the khandaan as well....but i eventually find out bc my SIL has a big mouth she can never keep a secret...lol....
Heck whenever family baatein are going on and I am stuck in that room, I literally zone out and go into my fantasy world. That way if someone asks me later on, I can say I have no idea.

I'll let em stay in their fantasy world where they think they are the smartest of all and focus on more important things than stupid Indian soap type family politics............errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr................

Just ignore it. If you show them any reaction, they will know that they are getting to you. Just act as if you don't care, and be happy with your hubby. WHy not call you hubby when they are there and just be like " Hey sweetie, how are you doing? Main tumhare bare mein sooch rahi thi..."
