You’re Single/divorced/separated/bachelorette for life…basically unattached. You were looking for a job and gave your resume to a guy you met at a gettogether, he was alone but after a couple days of that you get an awesome job in your field of study in an institution of your choice. problem solved right? nope

the guy calls you once or twice about job opportunities in his company. You say you already got a great job and you aren’t looking for a job anymore but thanks for thinking of you…blah blah blah… hope he, his wife, kid are doing good, bye type of closure email. He replies to that email by saying that he would like to meet you again and talk to you again in person. the guy is married with children but keeps calling you on your cellphone and keeps emailing you, it’s kind of an obsessive behavior. i mean for God’s sake you met him in person one time

plus it’s not like he said he wants you to meet his wife…

what would you say so he would get the clue that it’s going beyond that big bold line without hurting his feelings or sounding arrogant/snooty?

Invite him to a meal along with his wife and kids.
