if your best friend was dressed better/maybe more attractive than you on an a bridal shower she was doing for you? I have a great idea about a dress n i want it be simple but wear lots of bling bling but i dont want my friend to feel bad. Oh i am one of the bridesmaids so i have to dress up nice but i wouldnt wanna look nicer than her. And by nicer i mean get more attention.

It's impolite to knowingly take attention/admiration away from the bride. At least that's what my mother taught me.

hmmmmmmmmmmmm jalebi that would be really cool i guess now that i think abt it...I usually try to look my best but It is soooo sweet to think of your friend first and make the day all about her. i hope it doesnt mean u're gonna dress two sizes bigger and forgo the makeup ;)
also dont make it look like u're trying real hard NOT to look good....now that would be kinda chaotic.......

Yeah, always go more simple than the bride, if you know what she's going to be wearing. Save the bling bling dress for another occasion.

Well i am not intentionally doing it, but i was just thinking about putting hte outfit together n i realized she wants to wear white with silver jewelry which would look kinda dull against blue with stone jewelry

ur clothes should be simpler than hers …you dont want to look like the bride.
some weddings I go to, I get confused who’s the bride…cuz some of the other girls be so dressed up and the bride goes for the simple look

You gotta think about it like this.
After her marriage day, you have no clue how her marriage will work out. She could be going in for helll, for all you know.
So maybe, her marriage day will be her only happy marriage day.
Its in your best interest as a friend to pamper her to the extreme, so that she can at least have that one day to look back on in happy memory of her marriage life...
