How would u justify Marriage between shia and sunni sect couple ?

Hi , Friends,
hope u all will be fine , i waana discuss how do u see marriage of sunni and shia couple ? it,s often happening in our society,
The basic reason is love behind that but once it happens love go behind and other issues occur such as after the birth of children
what would be the sect of child i mean he or she will go sunni or shia. similarly can a couple move happily the span of their marital life
with the differences prevails in both .Theory prospective it is very easy to say love is above the religion, sect or everything . but practically
a lot of complications become the part of daily life?

The marriage is no problem - There will soon start a tussle between the both sides of the family to have the 'progeny' follow their righteous ways. Sort of tug of war between the two sides of the family and some how or other it will effect the 'ever-loving couple'.

Not always I do no of one Sunni Shia couple who's children adhered to most of the important aspects of both the sects and then never really foccussed too much on the historical differences but instead as far as I know the fammily did not have any outward problems.

However as an outside observer maybe I cant say 100% there was no tension but I dont think there is any serious reason why two different sects cant inter marry?

I know of plenty of Muslim men who took Christian and Jewish wives as Ahle-eKitab and they managed okay so whats the brow beating about Shia?

the marriage is acceptable from a societal prospective. iranian regime, shia takiyah and low profile carriers of this religion have done a good public relations job. personally i believe shiaism, or more specifically shias, to be responsible for vast majority of negativity in pakistani society. ie from film/tv shows to community events such as weddings to general life of an individual especially the young

having said the marriage is acceptable to many people, Islamically the marriage is haram.

if im allowed to connect the two threads started by gennybuddy then i'd say if the woman converts to islam (sunnah) and re-iterates shahada and disassociates from the superstitions known as shiaism, then her marriage to the shia is automatically anulled and she should escape to the protection of the muslims

I don't think the resulting problems are that problamatic( in most cases although exceptions do exist) because shia sunni marriages have been going on for a long long time and they will keep happening. The people who do get into these marriages are those who aren't that religious to begin with so they don't care whether their child is following the shia way or the sunni way.

The kids usually follow the mother in this kind of a situation, because she is the one who is at home most of the time, taking care of them and teaching them about life and religion.

Before shia and sunni, they both are muslims, we do not need a justification for marriage b/w muslims.
