Just wanted to know what you all say especially the girls out there - what characteristics define a Laloo husband - meaning being too scared of his parents etc..
Would you call a guy laloo - if you guys are engaged and is talking to you on the phone - his mum/dad walk in and he puts u on hold - ur waiting waiting and 10 mins later he sms’s u sorry i’ll talk to u after - i need to go this n this now..

Ending a call because someone else is speaking to you in person is okay - but for God's sakes - people who have call waiting or two phones - please, please, PLEASE - remember to end the call - most people hate being put on hold "for a second" that end's up lasting 15 minutes.

I would personally never tell a friend that I think my husband is a "lalloo" or whatever because he spoke to his parents and put me on hold and forgot about me. It can happen.
It's not a big deal. Tell your friend to think about relationships more deeply.

Maybe he didn't think that his parents would need to speak to him for that long...which is why he didn't let you go sooner. And then he got busy with parents and decided to call you back. Doesn't necessarily mean that he's a "lalloo".
I think there would have to be other indications of his being scared.
i don't think its a lalloo husband, but yes it is a rude act, to put someone on hold for so long.
If I have to put someone on hold for even less than a minute, I will call them back instead of putting on hold. its called respecting someone else's time.
Doesn't seem like a big deal, but she probably thinks he's going to spend most of his time taking care of his parents and not her. Given how babied some desi men can be, I'm not surprised at her fear.
