There is no doubt that MQM is feeling the heat from a place it has never had in near future. This time its not an armed threat that was posed by armed groups of ANP or PPP but a dent on its vote bank (or vote theft). The question is how its going to react. MQM has known only one way to respond and that is violence. Are the PTI workers going to face intimidation and brutality at hands of MQM?

MQM will respond how it has so far. Try to pose as being a victim, if that doesn't work. Well you've already seen the Shot Caller incite violence, and result (conveniently and how timely) was that of a PTI member being murdered in cold blood.
Unless of course saner minds prevail over the insane ones, and sincere MQM members and party heads get rid of trouble-elements from within and vow to work for the public and earn the votes next time around.

For some unknown reasons, I am not reading much into what’s going on in London and Nine Zero. Altaf Hussein cannot radically change the MQM because neither its leaders, nor its supporters are used to the working of a normal political party. MQM is not going through a reshuffle for the first time, nor for the last time. At least until Altaf is in charge of the party, it will remain what we know it for.
