How will Change come in Pakistan [split: Why is Zardari silent...]

Re: Why is Zardari silent on Aitizaz Ahsan issue.

Ali_R bhaijan. That is the beauty of Gupshup. People with different views and understandings talking with each other, and sometimes pulling each other legs in humorous banter. No one should stifle the belief individuals have.

I believe I am a realist and understand the ground realities. Pakistan is not Utopia, and with 160 million people many of whom cannot talk beyond provincial boundaries, it is going to struggle in forming the governanace model followed by the West or wanted by you are me.

Pakistan, for all its greatness, at this stage, is not ready of immediate change. It may happen over the next 20 years as long as family politics is rooted out. Unfortunately, the only way that will happen is not by the goodwill gestures of Zardaris, Sharif's, or Generals, but by the members of the political parties themselves.

It is the political parties that need to change to bring about change in Pakistan. Mark my words, it will not be the people of Pakistan that will change the way it is governed, they will only vote for what is put in front of them. This is obvious, look at who is standing in the elections next week.
