Woke up at 8. Family went for Eid Prayers. Came back. Went to Rashidiya for Qurbani. Came back. Went back to Rashidiya to get meat. Came back. Cleaned Gosht and made small bags of 1 kilo each for Qurbani gosht distribution. Went out and distributed Gosht. Came back. Hurt foot. Slept. Woke up. Family went to Dawat. Me watching Eid Tarang show on PTV.

In the early morning rain, with a dollar in my hand
With an aching in my heart and my pockets full of sand
I’m a long way from home, and I miss my loved one so
In the early morning rain with no place to go

I slept around 1:00 am and woke up for Fajr and then slept again. then I woke up again and got ready for Eid, then me and my hubby had breakfast then I helped my MIL in preparing bags of meat for distribution. Then served lunch to my in laws, went to meet my ammi with hubby. Now I am posting and my hubby is sleeping :@:
Woke up late, got dressed and left for great aunts with hubby and my brother. stayed there a few hours, came back home, sat about doing nothing much, ordered out for food for dinner, watched tv, ironed some clothes, went to bed.
bit of a strange and depressing day, didnt feel like eid.
Didn't speak a single urdu/punjabi word whole day except 'Eid Mubarak' to a couple of random strangers outside the mosque. No phone calls home. Walk and walk and walk around the city all day!
