There is not always a direct relationships between these two.
They are subset. Sometime there might be some elements alike.
for instance
A = { 2,4,6,8,10}
B = {4,8,12,16....}

Ive heard from some that "money does not make a marriage but it can definitely break a marriage".
That being said, I dont think poverty makes love walk out unless the two start to forget their bigger picture. Financial burdens and issues cause a lot of stress in a relationship and can drive people away because both feel so helpless. So, its important to remember why you married this person and this is just a hard patch you have to get through together.

I think it's pretty easy to sit behind a computer screen and say true love conquers all blah blah. The effect of poverty would definitely vary from couple to couple, but their is no doubt that the relationship would be severely tested, there will be a lot of bickering, arguments, worry and tears. If it does drive the love out of a relationship I don't think we can point fingers and say well that was never true love to begin with. Honestly speaking, with the kind of poverty prevalent in Pakistan it's hard to imagine if ANY love could exist in a relationship when you can't even manage one square meal a day. It is why you see the number of suicides on the rise, people just want escape and love is the last thing they can think of.

what poverty got to do with a relationship, you just comprise with your circumstances that's all. Stress or no stress, I don't think your feelings for your partner will ever change.

practically speaking.. if the love you're mentioning is really true love (i said true love cos today every 2nd person thinks he/she is in true love and its not attraction) then it always grow stronger during hard times and in times of financial crisis.
