Very ture ... X2 you are a man of many surprises ... the box of abstract you have great command over ... hopefully you will jump inside this soon ... Peace
You misjudge me. appearances can be deceiving :)
I expanded outward from the box, and am not lost trying to find my way from outside into the box.
Nahien bhai ... I can see where you have come from ... I can see this because what you say can only be said when you have had some sort of experience ... what I meant was ... your style is distant from the words you present ... It is as if you are protecting opinion of yourself from others, which is not a bad thing ... the jokey style and superiority you command over topics makes it seem others get into the mess that you obviously avoid ... the danger is that people may think that you are ridiculing them and may also think you have no care or now that you have become wiser ... you are presented as if you never made any mistake ... I agree appearances can be deceiving ... the above statement is probably one of the most truthful unadulterated things I have heard you say outside the religion topics. JazakAllah khair ... hopefully this conversation will pass others over their crowns and lose itself in the ether.

understood psyah. Appreciate your thoughts and I can see how it could come across..I have always been a fan of anecdotes, a picture is worth a thousand words, and an anecdote is worth atleast 250 :)
As far as someone who has not made mistakes or wiser..
My mistakes make me who I am, for better or for worse, rather..the learnings and applications of those learnings made me who I am for better or for worse. I can niether deny who I am nor what my mistakes were.
My approach is that I focus on the learnings and not the mistakes, because the mistake that was made is in the past, the learnings from those mistakes are the only things that are in the present and the future. So it comes through as advise as if I followed everything that I recommend.
I have made enough mistakes in my life and i hope that I have tried to apply the learnings in my life to make the proverbial lemonade out of lemons..
on the topic of mistakes, there are two things I have heard that have the most impact to me. third one os more about failure...but its connected
1) smart people learn from theri mistakes, truly smart people learn from others' mistakes,
2) mistakes are the tuition/fees for knowledge
3) fail often fail early otherwise you will never succeed
there are nights I cant sleep reminscing some really tough things I have gone through, there are days that I cant focus due to haunting regrets and guilt..but at the end of the day, I cant change the past. I can only use that to better my present and future, and to those who I run into.
When it hits us that we are ultimately limited in everything that we do ... that we cannot batter an eye lid without help then we realise that none is Powerful beside The Powerful.
And with The Powerful ... none can be defeated ... To recognise ones weakness is to know ones strength.
Sab ap ki trha nahi bhi soch sakty her shakhsh ki soch or tajrba o halkat dosry sy alag hoty hain. Baz log dosron sy munfarid hoty hain ye bhi haqeeqat hy. Ab ye kehna ky agar kissi ko mehsoos hota hy ky woh halat ka deeda dalyri sy hatulmaqdoor muqabla ker sakta hy tu koi aysi gunah ki bat bhi nahi hy. ky banda peechy hi per jaay weaknes weaknes ker ky:chai:
