LOL! I wouldn’t say torturous but sitting straight in one position was indeed uncomfortable. On the other had, it was fun to have everyone trying to feed me everything because I couldn’t feed myself. Also, had to take care to offer my prayers before I sat down for the application. I got it done the night before the wedding and slept afterwards so it was nice and dark in the morning. My MIL told me to let it fall naturally and not to wash it off as it was ‘armanon ki mehndi’ that shouldn’t be washed off.
My husband was a little put off because the mehndi did not have his name hidden in it but he really liked the whole lot. He also asked me to put on full bridal mehndi for other events that happened after our wedding and made sure that the artist hid his name every time.
i was jst thinkin of namaz, must make sure to have it done at a convenient time…thanks for that mahi…also im definetly gona try have his initials in the mehndi haha it can act as a nice ice breaker!!
do most people get mehndi done the night b4 or some days before the event?
