A frank discussion on the status of other religions in the minds of Muslims and standards of freedom of expression of these religions in Islamic countries
Re: How Tolerant is Islam of other religions?
Their religion is theirs, our religion is ours, religion has no compulsion we shouldnt force it on anyone as said in the Quran, everyone has a choice. As muslims, we have to respect others choices and faiths. Our only job is to spread the word of Allah swt and let people decide for themselves. (dawah)
That is the Islamic viewpoint.
Re: How Tolerant is Islam of other religions?
live and let others live should be the motto in life , if u'll respect another person and his religion , u'll definitely get one . afridi is right , being muslims we could only spread the knowledge of islam ( dawah) rest all is in hands of allah , every soul in this world should be given a freedom of thought and survival.
Re: How Tolerant is Islam of other religions?
Glad u feel that way
Re: How Tolerant is Islam of other religions?
When a Muslim kid of 5-6 years of age reads Quran at a Madrisa....what the maximum this kid' mind can pick up. I am sure that for a kid it is totally imposible to understand all verses of Quran.
And what the most the kid' mind picks up,......there is no God other than Allah,....Islam is the only religion of Allah,......Un-beleivers, kafirs, who reject the Ayats, are inferiors.
Now tell me how this kid when grown up can remain tollerant towards non-Islamic religion???

why are you adding your own things..........kafirs are inferior....is your own thing.by the way it is not very possible for a 7 or 6 or 5 year old to understand most verses of Quran. And in Quran it says clearly*.....................All religions are Allah's.*

The kids in the madrassah’s also learn:
Lakum deenukum wa liya deen
For you, your religion. and for me my religion.
