How To

Keep tikka and Jhoomer in place??

Thanks xx

Re: How To

For the jhoomar use hair pins. For the sticker you can have a double faced sticker to make it stick to ur forehead.

Re: How To

yups--the make up artist pinned the jhumaar and the top of the tikka. On the forehead part of the tikka, some body glue was added to stick it in place

Re: How To

its the makeup artist who does it so not to worry

Re: How To

They even use some invisible pins to keep the tikka on its place, had those pin on the engagement and tikka didn't move until i took it off... :)
And yep, as sumorani and blushing has mentioned the double faced sticker and glue..

Re: How To

i was wondering what questions should one have in mind, when gettin ur bookin with the MUA..

Re: How To

Clear nail varnish always works a treat if all else fails :)

In Pakistan most MUA's use clear eyelash glue :) they also have transparent "w" shaped pins to hold the jhoomar in place.

nah that doesn't work well at all i used to do dancing and a friends mom insisted we all wear a tikka, bad idea. anyhow the best thing i've found is a thick eyelash glue. it works the best, lasts through a whole night of dancing :) also as long as you make an "x" your pins should hold as well as your dupatta, teasing your crown helps.

Re: How To

clear nail polish works the best! and i have really sensative skin but it was fine.

Re: How To

i used UHU (tube) on my cousins wedding :D. that works the best :)

Re: How To

Eye lash glue is a good tip thanks might just go for this

Re: How To

UHU..:hmmm: not a bad idea!

Re: How To

Try surgical glue. It usually dries clear and is the most hypoallergenic. And it has staying power since it is used in the place of sutures for some surgeries.
