I synced the device but from where to check for update … 
… i dint know that using fb from mobile is so difficult

It’s not supposed to be that difficult. You do have an iTunes account, right? Have you downloaded the Facebook app?

You probably have an older version of the Operating System. Do this:
- Press the Settings from your iPhone SpringBoard to launch Settings Menu.
- Press General from Settings Menu
- Now go to About from General Menu
- Under about screen you can check iPhone firmware version under Version Label
- By further scrolling down you can check iPhone Baseband version under the Modem Firmware Label

I dont know about that …its like we put our mob. no. & they send us a link to our mob. & then we have to install the app. but I some how could not install the application …

from what i can see i think the guy is using the original iPhone. its time for a upgrade buddy. most apps won’t even run on the original iphone.
