Best is to use Windows Media Player Encoder. FREE and is Microsoft product. Search on Google for it. V easy to use and i have tested and displayed video and audio for free. V cool.
Ok.. i really need some help on this one.. i am trying to capture a stream and rebroadcast it using windows media server 2003.. any one has any guide on it? i can't seem to configure it .. i can broadcast a local file but not a stream
^^ could you please tell me how are you broadcasting local file..
my problem is that Our management wants to take continous snap shots/stream of all the construction going on in the university and put it on the webpage.
on the other hand they want to take ONE snap shot daily and save it on the webpage after the completion of the individual projects. so by doing this they willbe able to see the progress for allthat time.
a - get flash mx 2004 professional
b - use flash mx 2004 professional to convert any video format into flv
c - download and configure a flash communication server
d - place the converted flv in the appropriate directory on flash com.
e - search for an flv player (there are many free ones out there)
f - create a flash client with flv player, and connect with flash communication server
(very easy to do, only few lines of codes)
g - test movie - tada it's done
live broadcast is similar
a - web camera -> flash communication server streaming -> connected multiple clients
ok none of this helps.. so far.. i am not looking for Flash solution so that kinda wasn't what i was looking for.. (but thank for the info.. i will look into it later for some other projects)
the reason why i was looking into it was to bring live india vs pakistan series for gupshup .. since i knw i have had great time here and wanted to give something back .. khair i am still looking into this and hopefully i will have some solution soon :) thnx
