I always wonder what does dulhan have to use stick tikka to her forhead with???
Does anyone know??

ek pin ke saath baalon mein fix karte hain. thats it... itna to dulhan nahin hilti, ke tikka bhi hille y gir jaae...

To stick tikka to your forehead, you need to add lots of yogurt to the marinate.

I just use some good-old industrial glue.

If you use duo glue the one you use to stick eye lashes on with (you can use blue tack too) to stick the pendant bit to the forehead, and then the chain bit of the tika shouldnt weigh as much and you should be able to put it in place using the pin it comes with.

Yeah I used to wonder that too then came across this on Ebay:

At most of the salons in PK they use eyelash glue. Mera bhi aise hi lagaya tha...

What is this fascination with tikka? Isn't it a purely hindu symbol with different colors signifying if you are unmarried or married (you make it black I think), unless you are wooing the indian FOB crowd
