Quite true. If there are no muslims in the land then there is no reason to interfere other than if the other party starts border conflicts with the Islamic regime's territory.

When the Mughal empire came to India, Persia was under Islamic regime, which has borders with South Asia.

There were Muslims living outside of Muslim lands. The prime example is Indonesia. The Islamic state never went all the way to Indonesia but Islam was still there because of the interaction between Muslims and the people from Indonesia.

kindly note that most invasions were merely raids, not campaigns of expansion so how are these justified
so please explain?
moreover most raiders into india were from all over mid east not persia alone

You also have to look at the laws of the land you go in for the purpose, you will need to preach within the laws.

I am no scholar, but I know we have to pass on the message. The methods might be different but Inshallaah our objective is One.

TG, I don't think I have sufficient knowledge to discuss the geopolitics of that time however even if I did it would not be consistent with what I am seeking through this thread. In fact what I am seeking from this thread is something I only want muslims to reply.

Agreed. However how do we decide on whether we can go public or not. In the case of Prophet Muhammad SAW he did not go public until commanded by Allah SWT after which there is no such thing as regard for the law of the land, only strategy.
Now for us muslims today, how do we proceed. Allah has commanded us to convey his message. Or do we have to enforce it if we are capable of doing so. This is what I am trying understand and I do not have a definite answer for this. Muslims are not supposed to bring about peace and harmony in the sense as we let every wrong thing happen and we just compromise upon it rather we are supposed to bring people into the fold of Allahs commands when possible for their own good. Once they are within that fold they are brothers to us because they no longer rebuke Allah SWT commands. This is the point where the test for a true muslim becomes the hardest because it involves the risk of loosing everything and even getting persecuted just to bring people close to Allah SWT.
