Any tourist type places in Lahore? Or what are other good things/places to see near Lahore? I am afraid I am going to be really bored in my 3 months there so I need a huge list of things to do and see. Plus I will be photographing a lot too, so the places should have some aesthetic quality/value to them as well.
You are lucky. I would love to visit Lahore with a lot of time available. Why do you have to go for 3 months and where are you now.
The obvious places to start with are the beautiful Baadshahi Masjid, The Shahi Qila with the Shish Mahal Pavilion, the monument between these two places (Takht-e-Hazoori ? ), the Minar-e-Pakistan ( hope they let people to the top ). Also visit the Shalamar Bagh. If nothing else, these beautiful buildings will give you a lot of opportunity for photography. Try photographing these at different times of the day and different light. Then there is always the Food street for all kinds of eating pleasure. There is also the Lahore Museum, Jahangir ka maqbara, Noor Jahan ka maqbara etc.
If you can take a trip to Skaikhupura, visit the beautiful Hiran minar and lake.

Just try to manage the heat and lack of electricity.

3 months for Summer Vacay. Nothing much. Since I am a Professional Photographer I would not want to lose any opportunities photographing beautiful Pakistan. Thank you for those suggestions, anything else? I will try posting my photography here, although I doubt it. I mostly post it to my Facebook and Facebook fan page.
