hello frnds
i want to know how set your home budget if u r living on rent how to manage to spend income wisely for example if u live in clifton or defence area there rates are double as compare to other areas so how can some1 do things so u will not get out of budget
we are new here so dont know much about these area or places for grocerry, and other things.. just heard about hyperstar, chase that these are not much expensive what else places from where we can get things in nice price

hyperstar and chase are better in terms of grocery.
You really cant cut down your grocery expenses anyway so look for other things which can be budgeted. For example clothing expenses or dine outs/ take away.

yes dont want to cut the grocerry expenses just want to know where to shop for these in reasonable price ? and i want to ask if lives there some1 told me in these area u cant do barging becoz its sound not good ..im not talking about chase or hyperstar im talking in general

I thnk, buy fruit and vege from market mean mandi for 15, and for masla and other household thing hypr is gud optuon dont knw abut chase ??? Wr it is?? Although i will say buy masalaa from lower areas like inner areas, wahan say achay miltay. Big store hvnt gud one. Even alfatah hv vry bad thngs.
When u start buy the thngs u will come to knw kahn kya acha aur cheap hai. Remembr one thng makea list ofur whole thngs including both household or eatables aur khayal rakho knsi finish honi wali hai yh kis ki need hai jab store jao thou who lay lo instead u hv to go a far storr for a small thngs.

One more thng , that i was thnkng frm many days, there should be a thread for budget or latest thngs.
I mean in ur area , which shop hv gud thngs and new thngs.
Like nestle methay new desssert aya hai kis nay try kiya kaisa raha , yellow colour mean zarda rang food net company ka lo who buhat acha rahta hai. Aur glass cleaner yh polish cleaner kis ka acha hai??
Instant cake box aya hai mean ingredient mix just microwave it and ready choc cake , cousin nay batya hai still didnt try. Popcorn ki trah instant lagta hai
Mean each and every minor thng should be discussed. Is tarah new thng ka pata chalyga but also budgt main instant kya kare that help.

hey friends, we did have a thread on budgeting and finding deals around , this was a while back .. but not alot of people updated in it .. so it sort of died out ..
But if you guys want a thread on this , please open a thread and I will make it a sticky for a few days .. what say?

Before you set a budget, you need to have a goal. I have learned that its pretty hard to save without a goal
secondly, there are 2 types of monthly expenses
Start making budget with your income and go top down addressing type-1 expense first and then type 2. For example
In hand : 1350
use this for Type 2 expenses. I’d say if you use cash (instead of CC), you can have better control of type 2 expenses.

we can control on shopping, entertainment , but cant reduce for grocerry yeah but can reduce in terms of what we already have and what need

people living in clifton have to do budgeting? that’s NEW to me! 
is it about budgeting for lavish shopping spree and not be able to decide which big ticketed items to buy?

yup becoz some people living with some limited amount of income …not all have big house ,and luxury life style:)
