How to respond to the "revenge vow" of Taliban + attacks on Pak infrastructure

Taliban have announced “revenge vow”, and we are now witnessing wide scale attacks by Taliban on our infrastructure.

This Talibanic disease creates a crisis first and if us the Pakistanis respond, they start talking about revenge.

It is like a thieve steals from us, and if we try to catch him, he says he will kill our family members if he gets caught.

Taliban are like thieves too. They steal first, and then if perused by law enforcement, then they threaten revenge.

So how should we respond?

Perhaps we declare revenge vow as well. Anytime they attack a Pakistani target, we in turn burn down one Jihadi madrassah.

BBC NEWS | South Asia | Suicide attack on Pakistani hotel

Taliban leaders have promised to launch revenge attacks on major Pakistani cities and claimed a bombing in Lahore last month which left at least 28 people dead.
A devastating suicide bomb attack on the Islamabad Marriott hotel last September killed at least 53 people and injured more than 266.
Fidayeen-e-Islam, a little-known Pakistani militant group, told the BBC it had carried out the attack with the aim of stopping US interference in Pakistan.

Re: How to respond to the "revenge vow" of Taliban + attacks on Pak infrastructure

Burning madrassas is not the answer ... We as a nation can help our armed forces by being vigilant and reporting anyone who is a suspicious character or extremist.... we dont have to take the law in our own hands because that will give such animals more space to create havoc ... the last thing we want is civil war in our country , civilians killing and burning anything or everything ...

Therefore remain positive and vigilant and the prime example are the villagers , the Lashkar that have simply boycotted the bloody taliban.

No Siree. No one is talking about taking the law in our hands or commit any vigilantism.

This is what Talibans are used to in their hinterlands.

When you want to punish someone, you destroy their house or business. This is also an official Pak government policy.

When Pak government confirms that some tribal was involved in a crime, they destroy the house or business of that tribal.

We just need to give the tribals their OWN justice through our law enforcement agencies (and not through our own hands).

BTW in Islamabad Lal Masjid fiasco, we should have totally eliminated all madrassahs linked with Ghazi-chor-brothers.

Hifsa and boys madrassahs should have been leveled immediately after the lal masjid was cleared.

Pak gov needs to do the same with other Madrassahs after every suicide blast. You will see that soon Talibanics will stop.

yeah that i agree with that the madressa's should have come under intense government scrutiny and the chor brothers should have totally taken out of that place ...

I do also believe that the government is not doing enough to create a government body that can regulate the molvi's and separate the jaahils from the educated scholars ... only those scholars should be allowed to teach on madrasses.. and the other jaahil molvies should be stripped of their title molvi.

but the point is, the nation will have to put immense pressure on the chor zardari and chor gilani to DO something and take serious steps insteading of just enjoying life in their palaces ...

Re: How to respond to the "revenge vow" of Taliban + attacks on Pak infrastructure

a good first step would be to stop talking condescendingly of a large section of your oqn countrymen as tribals and third class. They are you, you are them.

Re: How to respond to the "revenge vow" of Taliban + attacks on Pak infrastructure

^^ U go and try to save ur own country from falling apart...

I partially agree with Burqaposhx, we need to vow revenge from these Indian backed terrorists. The best way to do that is to, locate the attackers, seize his and his family possessions throw them out of Pakistan, probably in Afghanistan or in India... if he there is any link between him and any madrassa, arrest the management/organizers/funders of that madrasa... on a 2nd thought, seize the property/assets of that tribe/village, this will make the village/tribe go against this phenomenon of suicide attacks/terrorism.

Re: How to respond to the "revenge vow" of Taliban + attacks on Pak infrastructure

Treat this like the war it is or bow down and live like slaves in fear for the rest of eternity.

Totally agree with that!
These suicidal monkeys should be put to gas chambers before they could kill thousands of innocent lives.... girls, childeres, worshippers and so on...

If you look at this, they do it for the financial reward promised to be paid to their families. So if they would know what to expect for their familis after they blow themselves up, I am sure 90% of would be suicide-monkeys will bow out.

Tribes must accept the responsibility and if e.g. Mehsuds are not ready to act against Terrorist Mehsud, then they should expect being eliminated by aerial bombing. Simple as that, no mercy there!

Right on.

Give these uncouth tribals their own medicine and they will thing twice before committing these heinous acts.

Mehsud Tribe is not responsible for law in order, we have ARMY and Police, it's there jobs to take care of the terrorists.
