Re: How to rescue...
hmmm. add some masala maybe. tikka/korma/chicken curry masala or something? it wont be a typical karhai but at least it wont taste raw.
Re: How to rescue...
Remove the chicken pieces and cook the curry till oil starts coming out of it. When that happens, add a little water, stir it and repeat the process for a couple of times. Add the pieces back cook for a couple of minutes and enjoy.
Re: How to rescue...
BTW, yogurt is used when you don't have enough tomatoes. It is in a way proxy for tomatoes. I wouldn't recommend adding yogurt in addition to tomatoes.
Re: How to rescue...
just add more of everything else

Re: How to rescue...
Call Dora or Diego for the rescue?
Re: How to rescue...
We peel skin off tomatoes and cut them finely so that they mash more easily. Try cooking the onion and garlic in oil first. Then add the tomatoes and spices. And let it tender/mash up...so that way tomatoey taste goes away. And then add the chicken.
Re: How to rescue...
I hope your Chicken dish came out good! I'm a newbie in the kitchen I would be confused just as much as you!
Tempe5t, My mom never peeled tomatoes prior to adding them, but I like your idea! I hate the peels of tomatoes that appear in my spoonfuls as I'm eating. I will note this down and use this tip in future dishes! :)
